WVclimo
Wow ! Second line packing a punch. Winds 31 G41 with snow blowing in sheets. Looks like a summer thunderstorm. Flakes smaller this time, but really whipping.
BTRWx
One band will train over Stafford, the other over DCA. I'm in the middle. Hell someone's gotta take one for the team... Looks good to your west
PivotPoint
Dude if you are on the edge of one of these localized bands with 5 or even 10 dbz returns, you probably arent going to see more than a flake or two. Your location just never got squarely under one, thus weak or no lift. Yea, apparently I didn't. Although earlier (about 4-5 hours ago) I was right under a 15-20dbz band and saw diddly squat. Lift is the operative word you touched on-- no lift. Snow hole... http://www.erh.noaa.gov/lwx/winterstorm/

Jebman
Radar shows snow to my west. Sky is clear as a bell, millions of stars that was sure quick looked promising as it approached, then it dried up faster than a canteen of water on a hot Sahara afternoon

Yorkpa25
West York received 3/4" from both snow squalls combined. First one was more intense. Driving on route 30 from Spring Grove Pa to West York, roads went from wet to white instantly. Pretty cool how fast the change in conditions happened.
