sferic Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 seems to be backbuilding and filling in over eastern PA on south....I think as slow as this progression east is, NYC and Long Island will have a coating to an inch maybe 2 in some places... Very cool to watch a ground "snow devil" moving south to north a few moments ago. It was just near the surface, no column (i.e., not a true snow devil). RU848789 Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Up to 0.6" here in Metuchen as of about 1:45 pm and snowing on the heavy side of lightly (0.6 miles visibility estimate).
