MidlothianWX
Front side of the ul energy coming across the br down precip breaking out in front in the nc/va piedmont. This is RIC's snow being born. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=FCX-N0Q-1-12 Thanks for the update Bob. We'll see about this one - expectations have certainly changed since yesterday. I was just taking a look at the RAP and it seems to be hinting at the ULL being too far south for us down this way, which would be ironic. Looking likely that DC and Norfolk end up with more than RIC. Weird place I live in.
Kmlwx
Really coming down nicely now here north of Silver Spring. Decided to clear a small section of the deck once every hour or so to estimate new snowfall. Street completely covered - tho we are a dead end. MrDownburstKP
4.5 to 6 inches of snow has fallen here in New Market, MD since 7:00 am today. Significant blowing and drifting, making measurement difficult: I believe latest RAP model run is a little low on the snow totals for Frederick Co. Robb Black
went and checked on my boat just up the road in Shade Side, MD. I have had too much wind at my house for any reliable snowfall measurements. Cockpit of boat had just shy of 1" in it as of 13:30.
usedtobe
Just measure 1.5" on the deck. I didn't go out to my snow board so the measurement is unoffical.
