NorthArlington101
My original 7.3 guess was a little more then an inch off. Without that last band I would've been depressed like none other. Can't see a way Arlington and Alexandria don't close. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
09-10 analogy
6 to 6.75" on the deck and associated infrastructure. If my point-and-click is to be believed, I'm not going to be above 20 until Friday and, except for an interlude on Saturday, I'll be at or below freezing until early next week. BlizzardNole
It was hard to get a good measurement with the blowing around, but I saw these two from trained spotters in LWX's Public Info Statement: 2 ESE Germantown 8.0 2 ENE Germantown 6.0 Perfect! I will count it as 7 inches. Great storm, and the snow ain't going anywhere!!
winter_warlock
8.042 inches here in sparrows point.I actually measured 3different places and took the average of .. 7.75 and 8.375 and

The plow guy is coming at 7-7:30 am tomorrow. Glad to be first on list tomorrow. It is now 17 and getting very windy.

Bob Chill
Final total - 4.5"...very nice event Temps made this one. Haven't seen streets like this since 2010. Very similar to the Jan 2010 event with temps timing and totals for me. Afternoon sn+ and stickage everywhere.
Ian
I'm probably going to go with 5, was able to wrangle that up in the "yard" earlier. I'm going to do a bigger run with the dog soon but wind etc.

84 Hour NAM
4.75 and probably the happiest I've ever been with that total. In the 80s I wouldn't have even noticed this storm.

Scraff
I'm no "trained spotter", but my deck measured 8 inches on the nose. Fantastic day of obs here, sledding, drinking, and eating spicy shrimp gumbo. I want MORE. When!? You guys-and you know who you are--were freaking money today. I gotta keep keep working to hone in on this craft / obsession / hobby. Cheers!

Odd. Must vary greatly depending on locale. East West Hwy / MD410 just over the Maryland side of the border has been plowed and treated multiple times tonight. Right now all the roads I've seen in the downtown silver spring area are completely driveable, but wet. Just a little slush near gutters/median. attml
Here is a GoPro video of me and my daughter and her boyfriend sledding on our driveway this evening. We have one of the best sled hills in the county! . I used my GoPro Hero 3 Silver with the head mount. The video is in real time and was not altered or sped up!! You can really get moving on the really powdery stuff!! We have about 6.75 inches as of right now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRIWoR7hnH4 Mark

I managed to not buy into the nutty runs as well. I think I changed this year or something. It only took a few dozen failhammer hits on the top of my head to get here. It's a better place
MDstorm
Just finished shoveling.
