Just took a Jebwalk. Impressive snow out there. Surface of the snow was bumpy, indicative of heavy snowfall rates and good flake size.

(OK, so maybe my posts were moved or something, but some did not remain in the thread. And to be clear, I didn't have a "warm scenario." The summary of my posts was that there is always a fear of a north trend with these, and that would lead to factors which would limit acculumation, especially on roadways during much of the day. Then we'd maybe get a thump after dark and end up with 2-3" with 1" on the roads, not a huge deal. How it played out: I didn't have road stickage until about 3pm, just measured 3 inches in the grass, and just measured 1 inch on the street. This is probably indicative of a decent chunk of the immediate DC area, more or less. I know it is still snowing and that is not perfect verification, but all I said was I might be closer than what the models or other posters whose posts were not deleted were saying. The End.)

Really... how many do you get built in? We get 5 and then any more days off Spring break gets eaten into before adding on at the end of the year.

Fairfax has 3 days built-in... tomorrow is #5.

Anybody else around me corroborate 5" or so? I think 6 is pressing it, but I did 10 different measurements and most were just over 5 but I had 3 6" on the nose

I measured 4" almost an hour ago when the death band hit.  I would hope that I'm near 5" now
