Kmlwx
Are folks in DC really seeing heavy snow now?? I'm in Silver Spring inside the beltway, right at the northern tip of dc. Despite the radar I haven't seen ANY measurable snow in the last half hour. Just flurries... Sent from my Nexus 7 lol really? I'm in Colesville and I'm getting raked. It might not look like much out the window because it's blowing around a bit.
Ian
Superband. Cantore's first question was if CWG was his friend again lol.
Joshfsu123
Very nice snow rates... definitely going to add an half inch to an inch to the totals at Navy Yard. CWG will be very close to correct (if not correct) when it is all said and done.

Kmlwx
If the superband continues to build like this and rake the areas I could see another 1-3 easily.
Yeoman
Just went out for a 1.5hr walk thru Georgetown.. from mod snow to ice pellets to ++SN with 30 mph gusts. Reminds me exactly of the Feb 2006 storm, tho slightly colder.. about 4.5-5" near Dupont Circle with another 2" likely Near Rock Creek Pkwy.. k94
Wow! Took a bit long but looks like this is the first major band for the intermediate DC metro area, might top out at 5".
Bob Chill
Bob are you alive you look like you are getting raped right now. You have little yellows right over you. I tried walking the dog. It was all fun and games until we hit the top of hill and winds gusted during +sn. My face got pummeled. Back inside drinking beer. It's DUMPIN! That's 35+ dbz territory.

NorthArlington101
I was exaggerating with ripping, but good solid medium sized snowflakes at a good clip. Probably a little less then an inch per hour. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Wow Super easy to shovel too - It feels like I'm lifting air in the shovel. My friends think I'm crazy for enjoying the task of shoveling lol. I wonder how long this band can stick around before it either snows itself out or rolls out.
