Bob Chill
Bob, awesome pics. I have a 4 wheel drive SUV and tried to get to the gym but had to turn back because of the idiots in their '93 Civics slipping and sliding and blocking major secondary roads. It's been snowing - sometimes light sometimes heavy - without a break since 10 am IMBY. I shoveled my drive about an hour ago, but it's all covered up. BRING IT! Dare I say people were driving responsibly? Slow and steady with plenty of space. I love my big suburban. I was the first to drive our unplowed street with the first and second feb 10 blizzards. That thing is a tank and I have great tires on it. 22 and mod snow continues
nj2va
i have to think I've hit it Judging from your posts, I would have guessed you had a Trace to 0.5"
WxUSAF
21.8F. Assuming we had 4"+ when I shoveled, we're probably at or above 5" now since there's about 1" on the driveway again. Not as heavy as earlier, but still solid moderate snow.

NorthArlington101
Judging from your posts, I would have guessed you had a Trace to 0.5" I posted some pics that got buried earlier where I measured 3". I'm just a little depressed over the fact that our flakes aren't big, we could have had some nicer totals.
Scraff
Coming down on the sledding hill like 2010. Awesome out here. 6 pack helps...
nw baltimore wx
It has gotten eerily calm here. Snow is falling almost vertically for the first time today. And thankfully that pesky January sun angle is gone.

Jebman
Finally some moderate snow after hours of very small, very fine pixie dust. I was starting to think that we were going to pixie dust right into this evening lol
Ka60
Clarksburg, MD Temp: 17 very tough to have good measurement. blowing snow. 5.3", 5.6", and 6.7"
NorthArlington101
The snow down in Richmond seems to me moving faster NE, while ours is NE-or ENE, at a slow clip. Still waiting for monster flakes =D
dman
EZF : 28 deg, very gloomy/foggy, either very light or just blowing snow. Pavement is barely covered, but radar shows the dry slot almost closed. So far WSW = WWA, but pretty typical for this area. Some chances for a little more later this evening if the stuff continues to stream N instead of ENE. At least what we get will stay in place for awhile. ravensrule
Driveway almost white, finally. Looks like the flakes are a little bigger and coming down a little better. (Btw, since when does DirecTV not carry The Weather Channel? It's GONE.) They are in a dispute with the TWC over per subscriber fees. So DTV put Weather Nation in its channel slot instead.
