NorthArlington101
lulz REAGAN NATIONAL AIRP 0.5 100 PM 1/21 AIRPORT it makes sense.... in my yard I'm not sure I have a solid amount more then 2", can't believe DCA has a "100%" chance of it. Gonzo
Here in West Springfield, we have ~2 inches. Those heavier bands are painfully close, maybe 7 miles to the NW. Snow continues, albeit light, and the roads are covered. I seem to be right between the shaft and the great snow. It could be worse.
ravensrule
Nice, I think you'll verify at the higher end of your forecast. It sure looks that way. Good thing i just bought new Uggs for this winter that allow for 14" before they touch my socks. Fur lined as well, perfect for my planned Jebwalk tonight. adelphi_sky
I'd think that 4 hours of moderate and one hour of heavy would give you more than 2.25 inches. I'm using point-in-time updates. There could be lulls that I'm not aware of while I'm working. :-)
Jebman
I don't want this to be true being I'm just south of I-66 in Fairfax. I want my snow! You're north of me - I know I-66 - You'll get at least 6 inches.
ravensrule
It is really pouring snow now, it has to be considered heavy and must be 1 to 1 1/2" rates per hour now.

I am almost willing to bet they come in with like 1.7" when Matt and you have like 4+ they prob lost more on the very front than i did so that's going to be the main difference unless they just can't measure which is possible. i'm prob good for half a foot or so at this pt.
