About 1/2" here so far. Still light snow…but flake size has been steadily increasing and visibility coming down over the last 5-10 minutes as heavier echoes have moved overhead.

Same here in Niantic, except that intensity has increased further in the last five minutes. The heavy band seems to be coming ashore.

Some faint sun here. Dont think that's a great sign.

i thought the same thing. the air is really dry, static shockingly dry. going to take some time to overcome that.

seems like those NW of this area , esp north of MA/NH border are going to be struggling for more than a dusting.

Ground whitened

 

The general northward push of the heavier stuff even before a pivot seems encouraging for areas to the NW.  Hoping that heavier band building in SW CT extends up this way soon.  Also hoping they turn off clear air mode.
