gravitylover
That radar is wrong. I'm downtown and just came down the W Side hwy and the sunrise over the harbor was beautiful. The colors on the east side of the buildings were super vivid and the Statue of Liberty was highlighted in the most awesome alpenglow pink I've ever seen. Now it's cloudy but not a flake. Dan76
WINDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW. LOOKS LIKE WE FALL SHORT OF BLIZZARD CRITERIA ACROSS THE CWA...BUT THE BEST CHANCE OF GETTING CLOSE TO THE CRITERIA WOULD BE EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SE CT. sferic
There will be upgrade to Blizzard warning for all of Long Island and possibly NYC/NE NJ and Southern connecticut

I have to go into work now but I plan on leaving around lunch time HOPEFULLY before anything starts accumulating on the Long Island Expressway. Be safe everyone and see you later! 6z NAM snowfall for what it's worth....good clean 12-15" across NJ,NYC, and LI. 6z GFS, much broader 12-15" throughout the area.
