MillvilleWx
we're good look how it's starting to feed in from the SW and S on this radar.....we're good http://www.marylandwx.com/radar/klwxstate_br.php I think things are really going to get interesting once this storm really starts to crank. Those two separate bands around Hagerstown and the one around I-95 I can see consolidating as the storm bombs out and creates a great mega band that will pivot around the Pa line as storm goes negative. I think you guys in DC are in for a treat if that happens. As mentioned before, 16z RAP looks great
Amped
Picking back up, going to have to snow its brains out to hit 5" by 12:30, though. We need about .5" in the next 5 minutes.

das
blah, LWX really needs to pay attention when doing the spotter reports. I tell them every single time that my location is Parkton, not Cockeysville, yet they tag my report Cockeysville anyways If you give them Lat/Lon, they'll do that. Same thing happens to me, they call me 2mi NNE Boyds instead of Clarksburg even though I am definitely in Clarksburg. It must have something to do with the grid layout in their mapping DB. clskinsfan
12:30 Just did first shovel. 4.1 inches. Intensity with this outer band has been great. The winds have started to shift from the ne. Had some gusts over 20 while outside.

It must have something to do with the grid layout in their mapping DB. well i think its because when i went through the spotter training i was still living in Cockeysville, so they must just put my spotter ID in the system and it goes to Cockeysville automatically even though Ive emailed them with my new address. I got an email in response saying that they would update, but Ive been told that before and it still ends up in Cockeysville. Not sure what else to do. Maximum lawman
Philly is getting rocked. Gotta love that place.. scores with northern and southern stream. 3 hours in, we are at 3.5 just west of Philly. I'm not kdding that half of that fell in under 30 minutes when we were in the death band. Like Rib said, I've never seen anything like outside of a lake effety snoq squall. gymengineer
partly. that 59 hurt yesterday.
