Scarlet Pimpernel
Good snow here in Silver Spring, near Rock Creek Park. Started a little after 9AM, now it's moderate with some big flakes. Has been sticking to grass and roads for a little while. Maybe ~1/2" or so at this point(?), eyeballing it from the window. I'll have to go out soon, start getting some pictures. Liked that mesoscale discussion that was posted a few posts ago!!

NorthArlington101
Ripping in Arlington. Snow plow just drove up the hill outside my apartment attempting to salt the roads. Looked like he was completely out of salt, so the roads are still accumulating. Hope these rates keep it up for a bit. I think my house got jumped over by deathband. None on the roads, a bit on the sidewalks. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

EastCoast NPZ
What are you talking about? Have you even looked at any guidance? We are going to get crushed this afternoon. The models showed max lift out this way during late morning / early afternoon and sliding eastward during the day. I hope you're right, but it doesn't match the modeling, nor current radar trends. Joshfsu123
This is a really good band moving over SE DC (Navy Yard) --- ground is turning white fast and roads have the look that they will soon start holding snow as well. Temp is now 25.8 at Navy Yard and around 32 at DCA, as of 11am, but falling quick.
