Side streets are covered and treated streets just wet, but they'll surrender in a hurry under heavier rates and dropping temps. The band is just getting here and hoping that it holds together. No accumulation on any surfaces – all melted on contact – and it's just about stopped for now. Mrs.J Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 Yep, but it wasn't 3" at the time of the pic, though. Probably 2.5" at that point. Just measured slightly over 3" at 10:05. Not as much intensity as earlier now. You getting a lot of gusty winds up there yet? Every once and a while the wind starts whipping the snow around and the visibility is cut so much I cannot see the homes across the street.
