I never started a thread before (I dont think). I liked last time we had this thread for the 1/3 storm..it was fun. I'm usually not this bullish but...

NEPA 2-5"

Mid HV and NWNJ 3-6"

lower HV , SW Conn and a large section of NNJ 4-8"

SEPA, NENJ, Bronx, Manhattan 6-10"+

Central and Southern NJ, Staten Is., Brooklyn and Queens 8-12"

Nassau and Western Suffolk and North Shore of Suffolk 10-14"

Central and Eastern Suffolk ( south of LIE ), Coastal Central and Southern NJ 12-16"

6"+ southeast of a line from Allentown to West Milford to Danbury

8-12" east of I-287 south of I-80, then ENE to White Plains and hugging the CT shore, south and east of that line

My guess at jackpot: 13" in Upton. Few spots on Long Island and Monmouth/Ocean Counties could see 12"

Lol It's never a bad guess to jackpot Upton. They always seem to be the winner on LI when it comes to large snowfalls.

As much as I would love to see it I highly doubt JFK is the jackpot they would have to have like 20 plus in reality

I'm going for ten inches in wantagh again I think somewhere in Suffolk comes in in the mid teens and cpk gets 8 inches but officially records 5!

If I was to put a number on what I think for MBY I'd say 9 or 10" but this storm will likely rely on where the bands set up more than the last one. If that happens I'll be at 25-26" for the season which is already at normal for the winter. The best part is that the cold air won't be scoured away like post-New Year, so we will have a deep snowcover for a while.

Reversing ISP and JFK on that makes more sense. I can't remember a time other than those 2/25/10 like storms where Islip got less than JFK. Then again, JFK is usually the lowest total in Queens.

JFK and Central Park will come in with the lowest totals in NYC.

With less wind, those stations might come in with better totals this time. Although, Central Park is determined by when the zookeeper can get off his rear and take the measurement.

Exactly lol...and when is JFK not low. So I based my prediction on both of those factors
