STORM UPDATE|| SOME CHANGES** The storm is now developing a COASTAL system which is forming between NC coast and just off Ocean City, MD. There is growing evidence the storm maybe LEFT of guidance and forming closer to the coast. Should this be the case.. A foot plus will be a common number from I 95 EAST into NJ.

Is anyone else on board with this thinking? Could be a game changer. Would make sense since models are depicting the low bombing, but seemingly leaving prematurely to the NE, wasting some of that juice. Opinions from qualified members would be great. Thanks.

Hasn't been great here since earlier this afternoon. That inland band is ruining it for my area. Good for all of you getting clobbered right now.

I was pretty sure the band was going to go past us and we'd be in subsidence once the pronounced move north began. However, we still have a ways to go and the band should pivot back through later.

I know someone has asked this before but I didn't see the answer.  What happened to LI on this map?  So much snow it can't be seen? : -)

I actually laughed out loud after looking at that map. Also, Cranford is comfortably at 7.5" in the middle of Union County
