Snow ratios must be pretty high since the least little puff of wind moves it off the roofs.

I mentioned it with the last storm, but you guys have no concept of high ratio snow.  What you describe means that its dry snow.  Something you guys don't get all that much, but has nothing to do with whether its high ratio or not.

OK but it won't take much wind to drift this stuff.

Of course not, its dry snow.  You guys are used to wet snow.  Wet snow is, by definition, coated with a thin film of water which makes it "stick".

Blowing and drifting actually tends to reduce snow ratios, btw.

Not having a webcam is going to be annoying for what could easily be the biggest storm of the winter. In fact, its probably a joke God decided to play on me... cut-off webcam access, then have big storm on the day I was scheduled to fly back to restore it.

Oh I thought you flew back for this?

Buddy down in Aberdeen MD is telling me that it is snowing pretty good down there right on 95 - looking at the radar creeping up 95 and East, looks as if there is another band setting up west by Hagerstown/Lancaster setting up for Philly region.

Up to 28F - No snow yet - TR schools closing early now...
