Very light snow in Mays Landing. Grass and rooftops have a little snow cover. I guess we missed out on this one in SE NJ. Enjoy the snow.

 

Once the coastal cranks up things will pick up here.  That said, sitting under that band earlier is going to certainly up the accumulations for the folks who lucked out.  We should still hit warning criteria though IMO.

Not the CCB.  This is just a deformation band created by frontogenesis.  The coastal (and therefore CCB) haven't even fully formed yet.

that's what I am waiting on, from about Toms River south along the coast has missed out on any frontogenesis...hopefully still meet low end totals..

You can see on radar the band shifting north a bit, and it almost looks to be more "diffuse". Snow still falling here at the same intensity, the only change recently has been the wind gusting up a bit more, with snow starting to blow off of branches etc. it had accumulated on. 20F and holding.  Gonna go shovel a bit. :)
