AppsRunner
Based on how rutted the streets are now (they had melted some after this morning's snowfall), I'd estimate that we're approaching 3" by now.Sorry to hear you aren't getting your truly elite storm still.Hasn't been terribly impressive here yet. Hopefully things will pick up soon. Wind is howling
Stevo6899
DAFF is getting destroyed. looks like the band has slowed down It's pretty much stationary in canada now. It can go in reverse and come on back!
dmc76
1/8 SM at Windsor Airport. When/if i get called to the bar I'm setting up practice in Windsor. We're either going to enjoy in this together or I'm going to scare all the snow away. Either way, I'll get satisfaction. You stay away from Windsor. You will get us all sick! lol
stormtrackertf
Still ripping. 3-4" is gonna fall for a lot of metro Detroiters out of the blue.
Powerball
Sorry to hear you aren't getting your truly elite storm still. We did at least get intense snowfall rates (much better than January 4th-6th) and moderate snowfall amounts, so it's something. Enough at least to bump up my winter grade to either a B or B+. BowMeHunter
No WWA and we might end up with almost 5" since 8am this morning. Honestly I am shocked, usually they are on top of the game when it comes to this but this was a complete miss. yeah maybe a weekend noob crew is on.. I dunno.. seems whenever that office does rarely bomb is in a situation like this.. Can't win them all for sure but if i was in that office I would have been weenie at full mast and giving my all to put out my best with frequent updates.. Still no excuse for them and I mean you can get better stuff on here tonight than what they have showed tonight... But I guess who is really on there checking updates except nuts like us a 1am No dis to the pro's or hobbyist... sometimes momma nature will burn you.. learn and move on and I'm sure there will be a few wtf's at the office and they will. Powerball
50" through January 26th is a B+? I haven't got the opportunity to get those extremely heavy rates tonight but hopefully TOL/BG can get into the action soon. The fact that two of the season's biggest snowstorms were long duration grinders and the fact that we haven't got the big dog yet factors into my grade. But I can understand why one would disagree. Stebo
I figured it was in reference to DTX's performance tonight. Nah just my brain thinking too fast as usual. I am a bit surprised how hard it is snowing here, still at 1 1/4SM and it is due to snowfall as the winds have relaxed some temporary.
