CTWeatherFan
Where is all the SEMI posters? Heaviest burst of snow in years going on? Greetings from Ann Arbor. Smaller flakes versus earlier but much more wind. Still ripping.
michsnowfreak
Where is all the SEMI posters? Heaviest burst of snow in years going on? Enjoy! Hope it makes it here. I doubt we see our heaviest snow in years though, as we had 4 whiteouts last winter and one this winter.
Chicago WX
Officially getting snow blowing down the street. Familiar blurry haze setting up across the fields. Not much intensity to the snow here on the east side, but what has fallen is definitely blowing around. Looks like the warning went into the 21st...when LAF peaked at 49 mph Ah. Well, tonight still wins with the 53MPH gust.
Stevo6899
My neighbors if they're looking outside and see me outside must think I'm a freakLol ask myself sometimes why snow gets me going. I always love the lowballing special weather statements by dtx. Up to an inch next few hours. This is like 2 inch an hour stuff. By far heaviest of the year. Chicago WX
53 mph is the highest gust at LAF since 11/17/13 (69 mph) Sure, but what about non-thunderstorm winds? Just kidding. On another note, "fun" weather for us from March 2013 to January 2014...pretty damn good.

I wouldn't say it's the "heaviest burst of snow in years", but definitely some solid Charlie Brown flakes falling.

Ottawa Blizzard
Enjoy! Hope it makes it here. I doubt we see our heaviest snow in years though, as we had 4 whiteouts last winter and one this winter. An amazing band of snow moved through east end Toronto between 4 and 7pm. Hoping to get a bit more overnight.
Gilbertfly
Hands down worst conditions since GHD. Will upload video later tonight or tomorrow I agree....the precip band had it's epic moments and these post frontal winds are roaring... I haven't heard the same roar of winds going through leafless trees since GHD (not that it didn't happen since, but certainly not with fresh or falling powder)
