Yeah they always put the 7am depth on the clim report since that was goes into the f6. But as we all have mentioned from here..its the most uneven depth ever lol. And if upstream reports are an indication, more wind is on the way tonight. We have had multiple snowstorms and multiple wind assaults all month, you literally will find a different depth every few inches you stick the ruler/yardstick.

Thanks for that climo report education  I can't stand wind and uneven snow and we do that with most snows here..  That's why I'm not a powder fan.. If i could choose lol..  Give me paste jobs all day over powder... Plus i like the staying power of wetter snows over useless fluff crap unless you're in a snowbelt then you can buid up a nice pack 2'+with 150" of it.

Yup. I hate to complain about anything in this winter, but I am SO done with wind. 11 days already this month with wind gusts in the 30s-40s mph. In addition to making the snow uneven it cuts into the depth because its compressing and packing would be powder into dense drifts.

The drifty snow is pretty but its a b*tch for us weather observers, and an annoyance when the grassy spots start to show in a thaw when you will have a foot in one spot and grass in another. Took this pic of mby this morn about halfway through todays snow.

Initial band didn't do much.  Looks like we're going to have to wait for the stuff out by PNT.  Hopefully it intensifies though.

Looks like it's breaking up. Cold drop and wind will be about it for us. Disappointing we couldn't get any real snow with this front.  :(

47mph gust and a nice 11 degree drop in temps 24 minutes. No snow though, which is a bummer.

Western end will dissipate before reaching here. Can't beat the 18z NAM/RAP combo. Wagons north.

Looks golden right now. Best radar returns will effect S WI and N IL...and miss us well to the north. Actually, with this warmth (up to 42.5º here)...wouldn't be surprised with just rain, if we get anything. Very disappointing.

looks like you're going  to take game two of the double header with hoosier :(

wish the wind would shat or get off the pot so i can snuggle up in bed.. keeps teasing with a few light gust and then nothing much..  At least i know if i ever just give up on it for now I'll at least get a tease in a good way.

Might have been a transformer. 4" from the first ever 40" month in Toledo history so hoping we can get close to 2" out of it

Was just thinking that. Tipmont reporting a handful of outages in the direction I saw the flash that started right as the front came through.

Clean sweep. Torch and little snow with the front. 18z NAM/RAP nailed it, unfortunately. Of course, they both sucked donkey balls with this morning's snow here. .500 hitters I guess.

Might have been a transformer?  I noticed some power outages starting to pop up.

Think that happened here too when the snow first started.  Bright blue flash when I was walking the dog, and all the street lights went out.  All of the house lights stayed on.  Was really eerie.
