#2 will be rain to wash it all away and then.....the arctic blast, oops, sorry, polar vortex! LOL Circa January 5th.

 

Actually ggem seems to be a solid hit right along I70 in OH.  It's all frontend thump.  We changeover briefly at the end but by then 90% is over and the coldfront sweeps in.   No way we get that lucky

It's you against the world (of models). I'm siding with consensus, and punting that one for LAF. Generally, I-80 and north (in IL and IN) will be solid me thinks.

 

 

Too early to punt, especially with the models indicating the precip axis may be very close to if not a bit south of the sfc low track.  Not what we're used to seeing but hey, multiple models are hinting at it.  If we can keep the track near or not too far north of us it might work out.
