True....the 21Z sref had no member below .15 so the nam was towards the low end......kind of unusual.  Does the RGEM ever win?

Yes verbatim its a huge hit. I think regardless of its actual output, the takeaway from it is its in the western camp and is wet for us, which can only be a good thing. Big time hit yes, but a good move overall as its gotten better each run.

I love high snow ratios. Agree with Phineas that we need to wait for the major models. Still, this is pretty good eye candy and maybe ... Dare I say it ... A trend.

yes, it was very consistent with the 1/2 storm printing out .35-.4" qpf

I have set myself up for major disappointment after salivating over the SREF and RGEM. Will still gladly take 2-4, anything less put me on weenie suicide watch.

Serious question, I can't remember if Snoverkill (2nd storm in feb 2010) also was a clipper that bombed like this.  I seem to recall that being the case, but perhaps I'm off.

It seems to me that the RGEM catches onto precip bombs, regardless of rain or snow. That model was pretty impressive for nailing the excessive liquid during 1/26/11.
