Rtd208
It symbolizes that the coastal front is moving inland and many areas near the shore could have precipitation type problems. Yes, everywhere except for Staten Island where the geese will have a significant impact. Sorry dude. Lol, hilarious. Earthy makes a funny.

uncle W
I saw a bunch of geese and ducks lining up along the putnam/westchester border with their feathery backs to the south. I fear the worst..... lol...they know the polar vortex is coming...they are acting like penguins...
DRVTS
LMAO! I saw deer eating my shrubs this morning, what does that mean here in Orange County? It means 4.5 to 6 inches, followed by 3 weeks of sub-freezing weather. The deer know to feast before the snow covers the shrubs.

Dino
That's interesting - is the track shifted even more NW with this? Just surprised no chance of 12+ on LI in this map considering most of the area is likely to get 10-14" according to other runs

SRRTA22
Lets not focus on the ratios. Winds can really hurt ratios like it did with the 1/3 storm.
JBG
Unreal. Starting to like 6" even in most of Sussex County. Psyched for my NYC Metro (Upton) brethren!Any P-type issues yet?

PB GFI
Lets not focus on the ratios. Winds can really hurt ratios like it did with the 1/3 storm. This is way more lift with this than Jan 3rd , Ratio`s are 15 to 1 with this , Upton thinks its 20 to 1 . Its not 10 to 1 . This is better in the end . REDMK6GLI
Any P-type issues yet? None ( besides areas with high geese concentrations lol ) your snowing with temps in the teens/ single digits like 1-3-14 storm
Ralph Wiggum
For those playing along at home...looks a little like the more amped up runs with the more consolidated vorticity.
JBG
None ( besides areas with high geese concentrations lol ) your snowing with temps in the teens/ single digits like 1-3-14 storm In one of the 93-94 storms we had ZR at 20. wxman9
This will be a lot of fun, whether we get 6 or 14 inches; however I'm sticking with wetter north and south and drier east and west.
Absolute Humidity
In one of the 93-94 storms we had ZR at 20. And remember the infamous V-day storm of 2007. 850 low is to our south and east. No taint issues what's so ever with this.
