N. OF PIKE
Good signs: Uncle Jerry very insistent Earthlight posting in the NE thread Will giving sref props Brian almost desperately cautious Kevin asleep, dreaming Scott saying "Wow" I think these clippers have trended well this winter. The period just prior to the NY looked dry and then suddenly we had a couple storms. Lots of surprised to the upside this year. Look at yesterday for example. Why not now? Funny and good post! CoastalWx
GFS not as excited aloft through 30 hours, pretty noticeable. I thought it was better than 18z. It raises heights a bit ahead of the s/w. Just a tad though. It has lower heights here so net/net might not be much.
Clinch Leatherwood
Ryan said "over correct then tick east". Not that that is what nam is doing but not sure i just toss it outright? It's simple: Ncep always too far west and overdone Euro too dry and starts too Far East but never shoots passed the western extent (still too dry at times) There will be times when it doesn't play out like the above but so far this year most of the time it does. mahk_webstah
Funny and good post! Thank you, can I have a free massage? I think it was 10-11 where we just kept getting positive surprises, stuff that would usually show up on the models just a few days out and we are getting some of that vibe this year. Although then, it always happened when I was on the elliptical at the gym as the 12Z runs came in. Now I'm just lying in bed covered by a fake fur blanky. earthlight
Much more room for precipitation development on the NW side. Hard to imagine this not being better than 18z.

Clinch Leatherwood
Wow, GFS is a moderate snowstorm for E SNE and prob advisory snows back into the CT river valley. Provided we can keep favorable wind profiles I think has the potential to be a major hit along the coast due to oes enhancement.

ORH_wxman
RGEM and GFS trending like that is a big flag IMHO...the NAM run is totally irrelevant to me. We'll see if Euro keeps inching NW...I just don't want to see it go SE.
