ORH_wxman
Yeah, but when the synoptics are still in question you pretty much have to take them with a grain of salt. Yeah definitely. Way too often they blow up coastals.
N. OF PIKE
Ryan said "over correct then tick east". Not that that is what nam is doing but not sure i just toss it outright?

mahk_webstah
Don't let the SREFs suck you in. suck me in? I'd never let that happen! The chances for 8+ are only 20-25. I'm only banking on 4-8!
mahk_webstah
I wish the NAM and SREFs came out last sometimes. They are like a Wrestlemania opening match of Nikolai Volkov against Tito Santana while what we're really waiting for is Hogan/Warrior in a few hours. You know way too much about world wide wrestling..... I smell a surprise to the upside here. well maybe not up here, but at least to Ray.
earthlight
RGEM is really amped up (still out of its most reliable range). Not even close to the NAM. In fact similar to some of the amped up SREF members.

SnowGoose69
It almost appears the NAM latched onto some sort of front running piece of vorticity and kicked the system east, if the GFS is west of it I'll feel better tossing it but its evolution looked like it may have hooked onto something that led it east. ORH_wxman
RGEM is interesting. It is certianly more reliable than the NAM this year.
CT Rain
It sure is. Wow. An RGEM solution would be great... but for SNE meteorologists that would be a total kick to the groin. 12"+ when this morning most of us were talking about light snow lol

mahk_webstah
Good signs: Uncle Jerry very insistent Earthlight posting in the NE thread Will giving sref props Brian almost desperately cautious Kevin asleep, dreaming Scott saying "Wow" I think these clippers have trended well this winter. The period just prior to the NY looked dry and then suddenly we had a couple storms. Lots of surprised to the upside this year. Look at yesterday for example. Why not now? I always love looping the evolution of these...it makes me in awe we have machines that can get these correct.

It can suck at times beyond 36 hours, not as frequently as the NAM sucks beyond that range though.

weathafella
RGEM is worlds better than it's cousin GGEM. And better vs nam. NAM is a formerly beautiful woman now 87 years old thinking 35 year olds are interested.

In 24 hours, the NAM will be the most amped solution, while the RGEM will be one of the most paltry. Mark my words and save this post.
