That's the CT I love and miss.  But I think that 0-2" zone back by me is a little generous. :lol:   Very heavy cirrus, with a good chance of overcast.  Enjoy Eastern SNE however!

LOL.  Schools in Somers, CT and Suffield, CT are closing early today.

 

Here's channel 40's take.  Channel 22 doesn't have a map up as near as I can tell.  It seems they really reluctant to put out a map until about 6 hours before an event.this year.

This is a classic, it's basically 12/11/60 without an NAO which essentially doubled the totals.

All while I sit here in Chicago Midway Airport on literally the busiest travel day I have Ever seen in all my 300+ planes that I've gone on. What is the deal today?

Beautiful Fluff fell here last night. I kicked some on my shoe in the jetway for fun cause that's the last I'll see of my gold for 7 days.

looking more like the euro qpf wise.

 

Absolutely.  I think the Euro is too quick to exit everything late tonight and in the morning but I think we'll see the other stuff continue to merge.  Both the Euro and NAM show some real nice banding down here later. 

 

Real OE begins a little after lunch. The stuff right now is very low level.  By 2pm or so the winds start to become more favorable..and by later in the afternoon it should be ripping somewhere with the OE alone.

 

Very good look overnight too.  I think BOX has this area handled well.
