If it were up to me we'd have no boxing day references ever.  Hated that storm and it's east flow.  Think this one may feature a similar band orientation as Nemo, just less in all ways.  No shaking houses and 45 dBZ.  Impressive nonetheless.

Win/Win.  Nemo was a great snow producer in the Pioneer Valley and Boxing Day featured one of Ryan's only meltdowns. lol

Ncep punted in their diagnostic to hpc.

Euro stays the same or comes nw a bit good....if it moves out a bit that won't be encouraging. I don't expect that though.

This one is playing out the same as earlier progressive coastals so far. Slight bumble NW in the euro seems likely as the envelope narrows.

Fella it looks good. Be nice to end this 10 day steak of a torch on the same day it pounds snow.

Good luck folks. We'll know soon if I should start the rest of the seasons storm threads.

But you started this thread originally for the 24th phantom system...  :P

Seriously though this system was flagged quite awhile ago, but was merely dropped, only to come back late... whatever it does.

Same here... I'm not sure if UConn will cancel anything on Wednesday though.

I'm kind of on the fence, tough call. What's there history of canceling? It really I think depends on how long the snow holds on for. I think 6 inches is likely there, but how late does it snow?

I go to bridgewater state, they should do as well as anybody in this setup, but it's the first days of classes, so I'm sure they'll be doing everything to keep school on
