LOL at my zfp.  50% chance of snow.

Tuesday: Partly sunny in the morning...then mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the afternoon. Much colder with highs around 11. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40 percent.

Tuesday Night: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow. Cold with lows around 2 below. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Wind chill values as low as 16 below.

Primary shortwave trough over Iowa, with second trough or energy max over ND now will phase with the primary vort max allowing for a slower moving shortwave over OH Valley.  This will not delay the onset of precip, but instead consolidate vort max over NC and VA.  This will allow a more favorable environment for intense cyclogenesis to bombogenesis.

 You're just dying for the EURO to score a coupe.

Mundane, outside of the oes circle-jerk-o'-fun.

No worse debbie downer than messenger. Could sit in the jackpot but will still complain every storm.

Bite me.   Who's complaining?  Will posts a map showing the Euro tooling the GFS in this range.  Pretty much every event the GFS has been wildly overdone in raw coastal type situations...with the Euro being underdone until inside of 48 hours.  Usually it's still a little underdone.

I like this event, but I think the GFS is probably too widespread.  Sorry that disagrees with you princess.

No, I want the Euro to continue to come in a bit more amped.

I know, jk. Actually, the last couple of days have featured some snow around here, I've had about 4.5", not PF Mansfield type stuff but nice none the less. Enjoy what you have coming. A couple of you guys have been spot on about stuff that pops up quickly. Looks like winter is back.

I have had bare ground for ten days, sometimes it's hard for me to feel bad for some in NNE lol, but I want everyone to have full winter I know how much we all love it.

I will.

Congrats most SNE,ers.

1-2", lollies to 3" out here.  Wake me up when it's over.

I'll enjoy the arrival of the cooler air instead.

23.3/14

The NW MA posters (you, me, Lurker etc) need to accept that we are CNE when it comes to the overall scheme of discussion about winter wx events.  You and I are 10 mi. from the VT border and W of the Ct River.  SWFE or coastal hugger shares more love than a Miller A. That's why I read the NWS ALB discussions as much as BOX.

:lmao:

Messenger, Pickles, and MPM are the bastions of optimism

Its Mr. Pickles

I dont see messenger as a serial complainer

He can appreciate all different types of storms but if i lived on cape and got rain while everyone else was getting snow i would be intolerable.

I actually look fwd to some decent analysis from him.
