GFS looks like it ticks east with best QPF. Not a big surprise.

This storm is really blowing up by the model run, I would really like to see a stronger surface low on the models though to be confident we get 1"+ of QPF in the region.  I honestly think models are underperforming with regards to the intensity of the rapid deepening or bombogenesis of the surface low.

H5 vort max is trending stronger and stronger with each run, don't see why we can't get 1"+ of QPF with this system.

No doubt a strong frontogenesis signature. The issue is just how far northwest the best lift will get. We're right on the fence.

 

Once you get deeper in the fronto circulation there's going to be a really sweet band of high ratio ripping... guessing UUU to BOS?
