Yes it has. 10 miles from the grass covered up to my bear ground. Praying that band in west forsyth will hold together and come on down. This is played out just like it was supose to and I cant beleive how well these short range models did. Also Kudos to Poinmen: Your nominated to start the next thread. Hopefully in a few days and not years,

magpiemaniac
I'm three miles west of downtown GSO. It's 29 with a nice ground cover of snow on grass and bushes. Rooftops are white. Roads are in good shape. Looking forward to a little more based on the what I'm seeing on the radar heading my way.

gritsnc
Where are our folks from east gso or winston salem? There should be some excellent reports right now. I'm in Kernersville just a mile from the Winston line. I have a light dusting. Just 5 miles east in Kernersville, the grounds are completely covered and when I went out driving 2 hrs ago, the roads were turning white along the sides, sidewalks were white, and my church parking lot was slushy. Heck, even just 2 miles east, they had much more than me.
Disc
Roads, sidewalks, driveways, everything has a sheet of ice on it. Went out to walk around and found out quickly how slick it is. Very dangerous to be on the roads right now.

NCSNOW
Flurries and there not melting as the land. My steps are freezing up from the left over moisture on them, I'd say bridges will start freezing up within an hour with or without any more precip falling from the sky. superjames1992
I think we finally passed the barrier from flurries to light snow now. The driveway looks icy. If we pick up more snow, the roads might start heading downhill as we fall into the 20s (and the teens later tonight).
kvegas-wx
Lengthy light snow here waiting for the heavier band over winston salem to pivot through. I can claim another dusting on top of my quarter inch since the car windshields are covered again. Woohoo!
