Brick Tamland
The storm prediction center just put out that update an hour ago, which made me think more was to come here.
kvegas-wx
If the Hrrr is correct then this is it developing even on WV http://www.goes.noaa.gov/GSSLOOPS/ecwv.html Hard to tell. GSO east? Firing west of king now too in west forsyth. Really bizarre.
RevDodd
Light snow also in Sanford, maybe a tick south of that.
metalicwx366
I think we are all looking now. Could this be the pivot? If so i would think we would want to be east of it. So gso, burlington and so on may fare better. (If this continues to blossom)Here is a nice loop of that radar. Probably what the HRRR was showing. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=FCX-N0Q-1-24 Also congratulations NE Alabama lol http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=HTX-N0Q-1-24 Atlanta folks about to see some flurries. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=FFC-N0Q-1-
FallsLake
Anybody checking out the blacksburg radar in the triad? Round 2? That's interesting. Something definitely to keep an eye on. **still have some light snow. I would say I have more than a half but less than an inch. Ground is totally white, but the roads look mostly wet. Temp is 28.7. Be nice to get just a little more.

ILMRoss
Fun event to walk around in! However, snow is winding down here. NCSU had a dusting during the thick of it, but it quickly melted. Not even the car tops stuck. Hopefully there's something on the back end where we can eek out an inch!

And looking at this loop I would be excited if I were in Durham, Burlington and out 85. Good potential for round two with lower temps.

Good potential for round two with lower temps. Why do you think it'll make it to the Triangle? It's got a trajectory more southerly than easterly and it's still fairly weak. It's also not supported by the RAP at all.

It's also not supported by the RAP at all. "IF" this continues to pivot it will rotate right through the triangle and then up 85 as it pulls north. Granted I am already surprised so this is just one of probably many scenarios.
