Arnold214
The latest RAP and HRRR are really going to town across eastern mass northward to coastal maine today. It'll be interesting to see if they can latch on to some continuity for a few runs to yield more confidence. Cloudy, 29F in Gray, ME.

sankaty
Up to 34 here... probably curatins for accumulation in the valley as I suspected unless we get under a true weenie band/burst. We were up to 34.5 but dropped a degree under the heavier snow showers. Ground is white but roads are wet.
moneypitmike
Meh' position of North is arbitrary. Upstream = what's coming your way Downsream = what's already past you and heading somewhere else. It's not difficult--but seems to confuse a lot of people. Surface temps won't be helping the accumulations. Already up to 29.8/27 at the Pit. Progged for lower 30's on zfp/33 on p/c. Not ideal. 29.8/

CT Rain
Look at how convective the clouds look over NJ/NY. Also notice the big patch of crystal clear skies over Long Island and central LIS.
moneypitmike
Yeah I'm at 30F now. We need to thump for a while if we want to get some cover. You should be good for a couple inches, I'll need a little more help. The temps will merely allow more compaction. I think the bigger issue is whether we get enough preciptiation. I see a line Great Barrington to ORE (and continue from there). South and east of that line will have decent qpf, north and west of it kind of meh. That said, snow's just picked up considerably here.
