Yeah good call. What surprised me the most was we didnt see a drop of rain, and I know weather channel + NOAA were calling for rain + snow even for here. I suppose the 925 bl temps on the models made it very a very tough call.

Same here.  didn't start snowing too well until late this afternoon but we are over 2 inches as well.  Nice look outside.  steady light snow, good snow growth, a heavier band forming over or perhaps just to the west of me.  Hey mets, is that band that goes back into sw nh and central mass a part of a norlun?  And the band forming just nw of con?  Are they norlun features?  They seem kind of stationary

what do you think of that heavier banding right near lake winnapocket?  And ne of LCI looks to be getting slammed all afternoon.  Over 2 inches here now, but spent much of the day in concord where it was snowing steadily all afternoon.

Elevation enhancement with the NE flow I believe.
