Tonight A chance of snow showers, mainly before 9pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as zero. South wind 11 to 17 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday A chance of snow showers, mainly between 8am and 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Southwest wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Get the salt trucks, and the duck boats ready.

I think my car's polish will persevere.

Drive your car tonight when it's snowing and then post pics of it tomorrow

not pounding snow here but the temp recessed to 31 and its windy, causing swirling in the lamp lights ...with waves on the street surface. Probably going to be a black ice nightmare here shortly.  ground is surely cold as a witch's fart with that 2 day stint of 0 to 15

Hey cmon now complainers gon complain.

It snowed south of you and its 1994 why you are complaining is beyond me.

Yeah, you're right, I should count my snow blessings, it's really awesome to experience frigid temp's that are

uncomfortable to walk the dogs in or go ice skating in etc, Yeah, but the cold is protecting 6 inches of what used to be snow but is now hard as a rock that I can't snow shoe in or use my sled on but....I'm just a complainer, this is an Epic winter for the ages and the pattern is ripe for even more fluffy dustings etc etc. My broom is still worn out from sweeping the 12 inches of fluff that had virtually no moisture content in the jan 2nd storm. Yep, has just been epic and the entire country is under the gun for even more fun I read. Maybe the so called whiners on this board aren't the ones that need a reality check.

I haven't been in the sweet spot either...but I'd never complain about near average or slightly above snow and a cold pattern in winter. But that is probably because I like snow and cold. If you hate them, then this winter has been a good reason to complain.

I usually leave my complaining to when we have bare ground most of the winter and its like pulling teeth to even get a 2" snowfall. Maybe that makes me old because I remember the 1980s too well...and what real disappointment looks like.

I don't think anyone is crying for their momma....truth be told, the cold is entirely tolerable, however we'd just assume not have to deal with it while we go 30+ days without an appreciable snowfall.
