Snow_Miser
Euro Ensembles have a mega -EPO. Very impressive signal.
Nittany88
Yeah and I was criticized for punting January in terms of big ticket events up here LOL. Well we will clear Janaury up here without a warning level event. Actually as nice the recent two nickle and dimers were, they were sub-advisory for many. Man this late January pattern is just EPIC...ly dry and boring. Although admittedly things are looking up in February.
ORH_wxman
That's a big cold reload into the country after 2/3. Winter isn't going anywhere for a while if ensembles are close to correct.

codfishsnowman
this trace of snow left over from the half inch tuesday really has some miles on it...i cannot believe we might end up going through jan with only one snowfall of an inch or more (jan 2-3)

IsentropicLift
The Euro ensemble mean at day 11-12 is about as bullish as I've ever seen for such a long range forecast. Probably some very big hits amongst the individual members.

Snow_Miser
It's a -EPO/-AO/-PNA type pattern in the longer range on the ECMWF ENS. Hard to believe that there won't at least be some SWFE type events with that type of pattern.

CardinalWinds
Geezus Michigan is just getting hammered http://www.johndee.com/ Nice. I've been following John's blog for two or three years now. The Keweenaw is just obscene with their lake effect. Wonder how it compares to the Tug? No mountains, but beautiful scenery, relatively cheap housing costs and of course LE from 3 different directions. I've given it some consideration on and off at times. weathafella
Some of the posters here are perennial depressants. I feel for you. Snow's otg in various depths. It's a bright but frigid January day. We've averaged sub normal since 11/1. Everyone in SNE is above normal snow wise. NNE could use some snow...understand that. Pattern looks awesome.
