conus furnace 10-15 rain super bowl? Or was that an old post?

Old post..it was just him popping onto main street from the alleys shouting there is a cutter on the 380hr gfs for super bowl. Prob just to get main st scrambling to grab their wallets and purses to run for cover. Theres a thief lerking to ruin our good times.

The Euro shows 30's and rain for the super bowl, with a return flow on the western periphery of a sub-tropical high. By 12z Monday it is mixed precip all the way up into NNE. Translation: It's a crap setup for New England all around.

Should just create a forum rule in writing regarding discussing cutters or warm-ups during winter, lol.

Frigid and dry, interspersed with 32.000000000000000000000000000000001 rainers.

Great stretch.

Yeah and I was criticized for punting January in terms of big ticket events up here LOL. Well we will clear Janaury up here without a warning level event. Actually as nice the recent two nickle and dimers were, they were sub-advisory for many.

As good as people think eastern areas have done, I only have 29.5" of snow still, that's not getting it done in a favorable winter pattern for Cape Cod.

The pattern for cape has not really been favorable for long periods. You have prob had about 7 rainers. You had 2 pretty sizeable events and i hope James, that you can cash in on the wed-sun period. Your well Above Ave.

Isn't that pretty much your seasonal average? Lol. And it's only January 24th, still at least a full 40+ days of legitimate chances.

Be careful what you wish for

What does this mean? Be careful that he wishes for more snow? lol

Storms can start tracking over the canal and he'll be all rain all the time. I was pretty much just saying be happy for what you have, as that amount is really good for this time for the cape.

They've had the best two storms of the season in that area

For all the talk about how cold it's been, this regional association is cancelling an ice fishing derby because of concerns about ice conditions:

I can't believe that, but I guess the ice isn't thick enough.  Most of the lakes I know are frozen out my way.

Interesting.  On the pond nearest to me, I saw folks ice fishing during the worst of the torch. Ice was plenty thick according to one dude I spoke with (he said 8" in most spots).  By now it must be close to 12
