I-83 BLIZZARD
Heavy epic dusting. Could even be 1/10 of an inch in spots. Hard to measure but a couple of drifts likely exceed .15 of an inch. I will go with an average of .06 of an inch for the record.
midatlanticweather
.5" here in Purcellville. I was so tired I slept trough the super mini blizzard last night =(

Ian
.5" here in Purcellville. I was so tired I slept trough the super mini blizzard last night =( There's a CWG spotter in Purcelville who always gets like 2-3x as much as everyone else. He reported 1.25" last night. I figured that area is like a mini Himalayas.
Ian
If cold wind was snow DC would kick ass at winter.
jnis
Man it's cold... 23 here with a pleasant breeze. Here is a theme I recorded this morning to greet the arrival of the vortex.
WVsnowlover
ok, now at ground level and with a ruler, it's about an inch in reality. Was getting consistent 2" measurments in the grass last night. The wind was really blowing it around though. Did see a 2.1" report on noaa for 3 miles west of Charles Town. We were in a good spot for this one.
MN Transplant
I'm out of town. Can I record a T? I need more events in my sig to prove how pitiful our events actually are. I put down a 0 since I didn't see anything fall and I didn't have any sign of precip. Here's the CoCoRahs map.
wxmeddler
Nada at home here and just a dusting at school, and even most of it's gone now in the sunlight via webcam. Western area's scored.

It was a perfect microcosm of the winter in the area so far.
ThePhotoGuy
I was up in Harford County for a funeral. No snow here or there. It was freezing standing out there in the wind at the cemetery!

I think the closer you are to the mountains tonight the better. Heck, I didn't score last night and it was a more friendly surface pattern. WVclimo
The air is a lot colder and drier than leading into last night, with dews in the 20's at this time then. 21/3 here now with a stiff NW breeze.

peribonca
If it does all pass north and dry up as modeled, it'll be pretty impressive watching a 400mile wide swath of precip hit a 4000ft mountain range and go fizzzzz.
