.5" here in Purcellville. I was so tired I slept trough the super mini blizzard last night =(

There's a CWG spotter in Purcelville who always gets like 2-3x as much as everyone else. He reported 1.25" last night.  I figured that area is like a mini Himalayas.

ok, now at ground level and with a ruler, it's about an inch in reality.

Was getting consistent 2" measurments in the grass last night. The wind was really blowing it around though. Did see a 2.1" report on noaa for 3 miles west of Charles Town. We were in a good spot for this one.

I'm out of town. Can I record a T? I need more events in my sig to prove how pitiful our events actually are.

I put down a 0 since I didn't see anything fall and I didn't have any sign of precip.  Here's the CoCoRahs map.

Such a healthy looking system right now...Western MD and upslope areas should cash in....no model has anything for here...

NAM/RAP do...not much...but you should get some light snow at some point tonight...even I got snow last night...it was some useless spitting brief rain/snow...

Precip sheild much larger and further south so far

but there is nothing to suppress the low...it will loop to the north, and as Wes mentioned we will downslope and it will wash out

I do not believe this wil loop and dry out until it has delivered a surprise to DC metro.

I think the closer you are to the mountains tonight the better.  Heck, I didn't score last night and it was a more friendly surface pattern.
