I am lost today without being able to complain....

Just put it in the bank for when things go poof in a few days. You'll be well rested and ready to destroy this place.

ETA: looks like the 12z gfs is taking away Monday. Stupid north track. You can fire up the complainengine now.

The greatest pattern since 2010 produced. WE GOT PATTERNED!

Don't worry. I'll disappear around mid march. Unless the pattern tells me to stay.

We did. Just playing. Though expecting possibly another 10" in 10 days is close. ;)

Here are a couple of cool videos from today.  I used the stop-action feature on my GoPro Hero 3 Silver to capture approximately the first 5 hours in the storm today in about 25 seconds.  Footage taken from my deck near Annapolis near the Severn River.

Here is a GoPro video of me and my daughter and her boyfriend sledding on our driveway this evening. We have one of the best sled hills in the county! . I used my GoPro Hero 3 Silver with the head mount. The video is in real time and was not altered or sped up!! You can really get moving on the really powdery stuff!! We have about 6.75 inches as of right now!

Lol

Awesome.  Nice wreck!  Thanks for posting.

I know. Me too. I'll be around to troll severe busts.

The 10" thing clearly belonged in banter. My serious weenieism stays in disco threads. I'll be posting about how we'll get no more snow in Jan shortly.

I may have the only dog that doesn't like snow. He's such a baby.

That's funny you said that. I have a Min Pin who cries and whimpers because his paw pad gets cold I guess. He's only out for a couple mins. Also have two jack russels who are not to bad.

I thought it was the salt but he does the same thing after walking in the snow for a few minutes. Comes out all limping like he can't put his feet down.  To be fair, this is the first year he's ever really seen snow. I guess I need to get him booties.

One of our greyhounds is an incredible drama queen and she starts to walk like she is doing an impression of Elaine Benes dancing, with a broken leg. Then she gets on the porch and is bouncing around. They really don't like the cold though, given they have thin skin and thin fur.

I have a half husky half lab that i can't keep in when it is like this.

Then I have a little 'Heinz 57' that walks like the stuff is caustic.....lol

Bentley is at least part lab so I figured he'd like snow. But he is also a spoiled pampered wimp so that could be it.

Finally some honesty from DT:

" By Friday there will be a total review of this event the forecasts.. MY forecasts.. what happened Why i Busted and where. It will be the MOST comprehensive review you will have EVER read from ANY meteorologist and will stun you with the bulls**t approach"

We must will it to dig.    I haven't given up on it.

Truncation blows.  We should do a telethon to raise money so NCEP can run the GFS out to 240 before truncation.

LOL on the Telethon - Maybe one day there will be a Snow geek president that can borrow from our great, great, great grandkids and get more debt to pay for it!

Mine is 4 and has never had a problem in the snow before, but yesterday he did the whole limp thing and plopped down twice on a walk.
