That car is a 97 Mazda MX5 M-Edition. It is not a daily driver.

The 1997 M Edition was produced in Marina Green Mica (color code 13C) with tan leather interior, tan boot and top

Special Features: Nardi wood shift knob, wood parking brake handle, 15" polished 6-spoke alloy wheels with high-performance tires, cut pile carpeting, stainless sill plates, air conditioning, Premium Sound System with CD player and headrest speakers, exterior badge, M Edition logo on seatbacks and tachometer, M Edition pen/key fob/lapel pin, custom floor mats and Popular Equipment Package which included: power steering, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power mirrors, Torsen limited slip differential, cruise control, power windows, power antenna, rear sub frame brace

Optional: hardtop, automatic transmission, ABS

Production: 3,002--- produced from December through February Launched at February 1997 Chicago Auto Show Described in sales flier as "limited edition"

I do not have ABS or Automatic. Numerous modification have been made to the car.... but nothing that is irreversible.

I have installed these...

I do most of the work on the car myself.

In the photo above I am installing new rotors and pads. I painted the calipers and rotors with high temperature ceramic paint.

Good evening all,

I just wanted to express how amusing your team is in this hub.

The past 12 months I have enjoyed some private moments at home enjoying a LOL moment with your team.

What I have learned is that the Baltimore/DC crowd is great group of posters.

Best.

Matt

We really don't care about the weather.

I know what you mean, Ovations do have a pleasant and recognizable tone. It's fun to play but the rounded, slippery back makes it want to slide off your lap when sitting down. Only complaint. Still use my old beat-up classical guitar too. I was always a voice person, starting with choral and classical, more than guitar, picked it up as a teenager basically to be able to accompany myself. Mostly play folk/folk-rock/alt-country kind of stuff. Will never be a guitar god but it's fun. Very tangentially weather-related: whenever there's a power outage the first thing I think of is...I should play acoustic guitar. Perfect thing to do by candlelight while the winds howl.

I almost forgot how annoying those guitars are to play while sitting down. It's like they said "How can we make this the most annoying guitar to play while sitting down?" "I know!!! We will make the back rounded so the guitar keeps slipping away from the player....Yeah!!! That's the ticket!

I have a Martin whatever that I haven't taken out of the case for 2+ years

I can't even remember what model it is but I do know there hasn't been a decent acoustic song written since "Over the Hills and Far Away" so there's no need for acoustic guitars

Accumulation Ale by Fat Tire, no?

I have tried this.... it was good.

Check out Crooked Run Brewery in Leesburg. Fits about 10 people. Very good beer. They are very young entrepreneurs. Like I don't know if they have their driver's license yet, but the brew is very worth of a visit

Must check that place out. Will give me an excuse to take the car out that way. I enjoy the area. I just saw a new beer that was being contracted brewed by them... though the name escapes me at the moment.

For a very unique but expensive beer try Orval. I like quite a few of the Trappists ales.

Edit: Actually, I think I am wrong... the contract was with Red Hook.

Crooked Run did a "big" batch - just enough for dome local restaurants in DC and VA. Take your ride out here. Should be fun. In about 500 yards you will find other pubs as well. We do beer well in the 'burg.
