Not a terrible look for overnight thurs into fri. vort gets under us and slp develops south of us. No phase but it's better than self waterboarding so I'll take it. 

 

posted about it in the other thread...I am thinking maybe we need less than 5 threads at this point

I'm confused at which thread to post in. It's not a terrible look. I wish it would phase with the southern moisture. Still possible. First and foremost we need the vort and slp below us. Quick hitter no matter what in that flow.

Watching those two western s/w on the GFS at 162....could be something?

 

I do like waves that undercut the PNA ridge; but, its timing could blow here should the Siberian middle finger drop in simultaneously.
