I do a lot of work in the Parkville area which is pretty close to Hamilton so I would say he has seen at least 10. I would think like you that just about everyone north of BWI will reach if not exceed their averages.
North Balti Zen
7. I have seen 7. Snowboard measured. Better than dca, worse than those living north of 695. It is frequently too warm in the marginal setups for me where I am, and while folks in lutherville and north are snowing, I am raining or seeing hours of non-accumulating snow. My particular micro climate shares more in common with Matt's or h20's or Ian's issues with getting snow to accumulate than it does with those north of 695 up to mt. Parkton. (Fully acknowledging I do better for snow in balance than the DC proper folks) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Areas on the west side of town at the same latitude as you have seen over 10 inches so far.
North Balti Zen
It was aimed at me, Mitch. And I don't know why those north of 695 don't understand how much harder it is for snow to stick inside 695, down to bwi and you, and down to DC than it is for them. My seven inches at my house is consistent with bwi anyway, and I don't think I get to average snowfall without help this year. We need a legit storm. I got 5" and you didn't see much at all. I'm at 14" for the year so nothing to complain about. Like others have said though, it would be cool to see the entire area get a warning criteria snowfall. I did a little better, but it's still for shiat and disproportionately lower (40-50% lower) than, like a said, only 7 miles N/NW of me as the crow flies look, if we can't whine, then this place should be shut down I just don't get the whining about the whining in here...everyone does it, you included, so what's the big deal and why do people invariably complain/whine about it? makes no sense with all the other things that can be whined over (like all these useless clippers)

My problem is with some people drawing sweeping conclusions and saying it will never snow again or that we're like the Deep south now... it is utter nonsense whether you're talking about DCA or Dunkirk or the snowier spots... and while sometimes it's in jest, I think that whole sentiment has gotten a bit too far and it's annoying. And then there are some who complain about mixing.... ugh. Mixing is a fact of life in the mid-Atlantic, most of us don't like it but we should just take whatever frozen precip/snow we get especially if it could've been all rain at just a few degrees warmer. Bob Chill
Nice if we can squeeze 2" out area wide everyone will smile. I've liked this one. Best track of the string and more organized. Doesn't wash out because of lp off the coast. It will be light but it starts and ends with surface below freezing everywhere for once. I'll gladly take my .08 like that than .16 with the first half wasted at 35* and slowly fallin. It might be a 12-15:1 kinda deal.
