HoarfrostHubb
How strong have everyone's gusts been today? Has there been any reports of damage? Are rivers out of banks or anything like that? Has there been any hydroplaning on area roadways? As mentioned earlier, I had the biggest tree branch fall since Dec 2008.... but it was dead, so might have been a wet squirrel that made it fall... HoarfrostHubb
I think its amazing that Dendrite has like 10" on the ground and the mountains look like that. This has been one bizarre first half of winter.... but yet fascinating. Our region has so many nuances and little nooks and crannies and there seems to be extra variability this season than most others. That thing was $2.7 mil? Wow.... for a cranky old double chair? powderfreak
44F. RN. RivetingNo matter how hard the atmosphere tries, rainstorms just won't be as exciting as snowstorms. Even tracking an area of flurries is generally more "exciting" to us than an over-performing rain. It is funny how we will split hairs over a half inch of snow, but 0.05" liquid just isn't as exciting.
