mcwx
just to show the level of saturation here, this area only puddles up during the heaviest of summer rains. and just a light shower made it happen now.. I would think the problem is the ground is frozen and water can't percolate down into the soil vs saturated. The ground here is hard as a rock, water can't penetrate yet
Sophisticated Skeptic
regarding the frozen ground = possible...but everything's still puddled up. If it was truly frozen, I would of expected some seeping down by now. would be great to see some current pics around trenton / delaware...ice jam situation. ...to see if they can handle whats about to come downstream. KamuSnow
59F/59DP Winds S11MPH/G27MPH strong line coming into Reading/Berks now. .88" 59F here also. That line is pretty skinny, pretty well defined, and pretty long...

Absolute Humidity
Was out earlier in Franklin, NJ. A nice thunderstorm rolled through with lighting. So much for the 1994 analog 1994? We need a 100 year volcanic eruption for that.
KamuSnow
Here that line amounted to about 2 minutes of rain, some gusty winds to about 25 mph, and a pretty interesting sky.
Harbourton
Line crossed area with nothing out of the ordinary. May be the cold Delaware kinda killed it.
