RCNYILWX
Heaviest snow of the winter for about 20 mins or so. Same here in Naperville.
Hailcore
So far it's turning out to be a pretty big bust here. Maybe a quarter of an inch right now. Hoping that band out around La Crosse impacts us later in the afternoon, else we're not getting close to what I forecasted... Looking real good up in the Fox Valley area though. Gilbertfly
snowglobe on roids for about 10 minutes....driveway, sidewalk, parts of the street whitened....starting to taper off
Baum
I would say the un forecasted band of snowshowers that put down nearly an inch in the LOT area on Monday November 25 to really open our season was far more intense. 10 minutes of melt on contact snowfall around these parts. Probably have had 3-4 more episodes of this type this winter with high ratios that were not forecasted this season which makes equipment scheduling a b**ch. Today's forecasted snow band hitting at daybreak only adds to the fun. Good thing I understand clippers north of you normally don't mean much. Feel for the MKE peeps even more so. Chicago WX
I'm up in IKK-land this week. Had a few pellets (or graupel) mixed in with the first batch earlier this morning, but a nice pulse of snow with the line...enough intensity to dust/whiten up some spots. Fleeting of course, but nice to see some snow.
Geos
Might be 0.1" here in Racine. Only stuck to the grass.
Hoosier
Saturday clipper looks decent on the GFS. Hope it holds.
Thundersnow12
Yeah the GFS has been consistent showing it. Newest run was weaker and a bit SW of the last few runs.
BowMeHunter
hopefully goes way south....at least we'll be driving down friday and will avoid traffic hassle in the snow.. though worried about taking off saturday morning from o'hare .

WestCoaster
Almost all the clippers will dry up or disintegrate before hitting Toronto, only to restrengthen once passing us to the east.

Chicago Storm
Well, for those slamming the Euro's performance this year, it did pretty well with this system. I'm not going to say it was a good model this winter, but it was not the worst model either. It caught on to the right idea a few days ago and generally didn't waver a lot. It won this model battle. lol wut. A few days ago it didn't even have much of a clipper. Overall terrible model performance all around once again. daddylonglegs
I'd say over 4 inches here so far.... hard to tell with the blowing snow, but the biggest snowfall this year for sure.

Geos
MKX needs to stop pulling the trigger too early. This was always a GRB cwa system. Haha, will see...
Chicago Storm
MKX needs to stop pulling the trigger too early. This was always a GRB cwa system. Not really. Guidance yesterday afternoon was still showing advisory level snows down to the IL/WI border.
Hoosier
Had a burst of snow here earlier which started as a bit of rain.
Geos
Not really. Guidance yesterday afternoon was still showing advisory level snows down to the IL/WI border. Only a couple models runs though was it really "good" snows down this way. Will see if southern WI meets WWA criteria tonight.
BowMeHunter
MKX needs to stop pulling the trigger too early. This was always a GRB cwa system. Haha, will see... how much of that 2-4" LOT had in your forecast fall?
Geos
how much of that 2-4" LOT had in your forecast fall? Not even sure! Been in Racine all day. Probably no more than 0.2". At least they didn't issue anything more than a SWS. Nice batch of snow pivoting around now. Maybe you can muster 0.5".
wisconsinwx
MKX needs to stop pulling the trigger too early. This was always a GRB cwa system. Haha, will see... Flip flopping from weenie to anti-weenie so soon lol?
Chicago Storm
At least they didn't issued anything more than a SWS. Yea...But they were still calling for borderline advisory amounts for the far northern CWA. So lol @ you for calling out MKE.
Geos
Flip flopping from weenie to anti-weenie so soon lol? This was the biggest bust of the season imo. Just pointing it out. After what we've been through so far this winter, the snow earlier was just a tease from mother nature. We've seemed to turn some corner in the winter, whether it reverts back to what it was is a big if.
