hosj III
Only a BECS will change us all. Otherwise, bank on the following: 1. The NAM leading fools off a cliff 2. Zwyts elephant stomping a weenie 3. Mapgirl jackpot I would add a Ji meltdown to that list, but I take people at their word If we get a 36-48" event I guarantee the NAM will shows 100"+

mitchnick
CFS2 has finally adjusted its precip maps to a tasty NINO signature, going heaviest JAN-MAR more than DEC-FEB hopefully, temp maps will adjust once it gets rid of that pesky trough south of the Gulf of Alaska

hosj III
BECS = Basic East Coast Snowstorm? Biblical East Coast Snowstorm If a storm drops 3'+ from DC-Boston fairly consistenly, I would consider it a BECS. Not really as insane as it sounds. 1993 could have done it if it was 150 miles farther southeast, and then there is always this one. (1989) (The next pic is from some thread on accuwx forums.... ignore the date) Here's the thread: (Full of BECS scenarios) http://forums.accuweather.com/index.php?showtopic=4232

hosj III
Lol can you imagine the hype? I know it's mid-August, but...pants...tent. If a BECS was bearing down on I-95? It would be unimaginable. I would save all the pernagraphic model runs and frame them around my house.

Zwytsmania would be running wild, Ian would be in heaven and actually be nice to newbies, and I would be texting my friend in Alaska bragging. The Boston forum would probably cry and Snow Bros across the region would be taking Jebwalks with Jeb and Ji. I would probably make paintings inspired by the surreal Euro snow maps.
