gravitylover
Tahoe. The snowbanks in my driveway were about 15 feet high when the best of all of the storms in that sequence started. When I got home from work in the morning I had to park across the street at 7-11 because even my old Willys didn't stand a chance. 16 hours of shoveling, a case of beer and a fair amount of weed later and the Jeep was finally in the driveway. Check out the records for 12/92-1/93, it was insane

TheSnowman
I only have easy stats for 12" storms (have to really dig for 10" each) but I have 23 12" storms in my lifetime. Always in Northern RI even though my stats are all for Cumberland. There was really nothing form the late 80's until 1992 when I moved to Cumberland. OH MY GOD! I moved here in the summer of 1992 and THAT winter was the winter that started it all! Somehow never thought about that. Goes along with the coincidence that I have grown up and lived in Cumberland, the likely Jackpot of the Blizzard of 1978 (Very Likely on Diamond Hill which is 3 minutes from me). On the side I still can't get over the coincidence of calling the the Fujiwawa 2 foot totals 4/5 days out with a video on YouTube (still there) to prove it. That will never happen again for me I don't think. It was fun staying with my prediction and destroying the RI mets on facebook going for 1"-2" and Rain and Boston mets going for 5"-10" to then see 3 different areas get 2 feet lol. This board STILL needs to do a full talk about the RI Screw Zone from Hell that happened. Even Paul Kocin can't explain it to me.

gravitylover
Unfortunately no. I do have some pretty vivid memories though. Skiing chest deep and sinking over my head on turns and laying on my belly and shoveling snow forward and down the hill because the bank was too high to throw it onto are two that stand out. Solstice 93 we had a ski BBQ in the yard. We had tarped a twenty five foot snowpile in April and then uncovered it for the shindig. Then ... It snowed two more times before the end of the month. (Goopy) June powder daze FTW!
