LWX radar beam seems to always get blocked going up through Franklin County.  Looks like it cuts out Greencastle area and Zak.  Must be mountains to the south

Here's link http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=lwx&product=N0R&overlay=11101111&loop=no

quick question. how do you post an image from a folder?  I have GRlevel3 and I'd like to post images from that.

Snow has really picked up as a band as formed over me.

You need to upload it, either to a service (photobucket, flickr, etc) or directly to amwx.

To upload to Amwx, attach the file (found under the post text entry box) and there should be an option to include in post.

We are focused on the snow (rightly so) but the temps are plummeting. Horst said a bit ago that Lancaster will be down to 10 this evening and at or below 0 by morning.

it was 27 at my house when I let the dog out at 5 am... now at 22

i was just looking at the therm here at work, i had 28 this am and at 815 had 22

This stuff going to drift like heck later. even now with light breeze its blowing around.

Yeah it's really powdery.  Gonna be tough to measure for many.  Conditions could be pretty nasty this evening and overnight, especially in the rural farmland of York, Lancaster, Lebanon counties.  Coming down nicely in Bellefonte now...maybe 1 mile vis at most.  We need the next 2-3 hours to really perform up here to see anything worthwhile.
