SlantStickers Anonymous
Frequent lightning now, pretty nice pooling around the house and on the street already too thanks to melting snow. This is easily more entertaining than most summer thunderstorms around here lol.
dendrite
Looks like Jay refuses to call it a "rainy" day. Instead they refer to it as "wet, dropping premature snow." lol
dendrite
That line of heavier showers came through and actually mixed some weak westerlies down to the sfc. We tickled 32.7, but have since calmed back down and we're back to 31.9.

moneypitmike
Looks like Chris will be keeping his snow--good for him! Up here, this event it totally forgettable. One rumble of thunder and that was it. Back yard is a sheet of ice, trechourus trek to get wood just now. I'm sure now that I've hit 50*, that'll improve and instead I'll just slip in mud. 50.2/49 .38" in the bucket 11mph top gust
powderfreak
I like people and civilization lol. I didn't exactly know where Jackson was, but that looks like a pretty good spot. How far of a drive from like Boston is that? Also, looking at the topo map, how does Plymouth get downsloped? It seems like it would have to be a NE wind? Which I guess would include the larger Nor'easter coastal storms...a moist SEly flow looks like it would upslope into that area?
