powderfreak
Do not travel this morning... took me 45 minutes to go what is normally 15 minutes. RT 108 was closed for a while, multiple vehicles off the road. RT 100 is now closed Waterbury-Stowe. I-89 south closed Richmond-Waterbury. Pics from 5:30am in Stowe... Damage In Tolland
Interesting 12 mile run this morning. Some areas had roaring south winds and almost all snow was gone. and no fog. Others thick fog and 100% snowcover. Roads were icy in many spots. Salt trucks were out. Some areas you could feel warm, tropical breezes..and other areas it was as cool and calm as could be. All dependent on which direction the hills faced and elevation
moneypitmike
It's 31.1/30 here at the Pit. Just walked out to the deck and it didn't seem that bad. I suppose it would not be ideal on tires.

Plus no southern stream action out west, so southern rockies etc below normal It's temporary because we'll pile on snow across areas of the country starting next week. The west though is fooked, especially CA.
